This Privacy Policy explains how PING (“PING”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses and protects your information when you use our website and mobile app (the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to the practices described here.
Information we collect
Account information. When you sign in with Google or Discord we receive your name, email address and a provider account identifier. If you connect Discord for notifications we also store your Discord user ID and profile details.
Service data. The search queries (“pings”) you create, your notification and app preferences, and records of the alerts we send you.
Device data. If you enable push notifications we store a device push token so we can deliver alerts. We may also collect basic technical data such as app version.
How we use your information
We use your information to operate the Service: to run your saved searches against marketplaces, to send you the notifications you have requested, to maintain your account, and to keep the Service secure and reliable.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers who help us operate the Service (for example hosting, database and push-notification providers), and where required by law.
Data retention & deletion
We keep your information for as long as your account is active. You can permanently delete your account at any time from the app’s Settings screen; doing so removes your account, saved searches, notification history and registered devices. This action is irreversible.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below.
